User Research Lead (UX/CX research, UX/CX design)

The User Research Lead (UX/CX research, UX/CX design) role:

  • You will demonstrate your ability to develop user-focused design, upheld by your strong understanding of the fundamentals of Human Computer Interactions.
  • You will identify key experience drivers, such as inflection points and moments of truth, from you and your team's research to make data-focused, informed design decisions, as well as being able to predict stakeholder trends and requirements.
  • You will create compelling 'stories' from your research, and, when needed, influence for the best outcome for your client.
  • You will create research plans and discussion points, conduct end-user interviews, analysing feedback and simplify the clients' needs into layman's terms to keep your team focused on what the client requires.

Requirements:

  • A university-educated User Research Lead (UX/CX research, UX/CX design) with experience in CX research, CI design, user visual design or similar.
  • Ability to demonstrate a successful track record of working with designers, product managers, engineers, and various stakeholders to achieve results, in an Agile fashion
  • Past experience in conducting user and group interviews, JTBD switch interviews, usability testing, surveys and remote testing methods
  • Ability to communicate user experience issues and concerns and overall design principles to your team members and clients.
  • Confidence when using technology to produce wireframes, user interface, prototypes and graphic design for apps and websites.
  • Strong leadership skills that help drive continuous improvement, as well as the ability to measure client experience to ensure all targets are met.
  • The ability to create effective surveys and other research methods to reveal customer insights and find meaning in the resulting data, feeding these results back into the persona model and develop client journeys.

Exceptional research leads who do not meet these requirements may still be considered for the role provided they possess the necessary skills and experience.
