Our client is a well established catering manufacturer specialising in commercial catering equipment reactive repairs, planned preventative maintenance & installations. Due to continued success of the company they are currently looking for enthusiastic Trainee Electrical Engineers to join their growing business.
The Trainee Electrical Engineer will be learn how to perform reactive and preventative maintenance on a wide range of commercial catering equipment, including commercial dishwashers and warewashing equipment as well as commercial laundry, commercial ovens, and other catering equipment. This will be in based in London and the surrounding areas.
Responsibilities and Duties
Providing service and customer support during field visits
Shadow and learn site installation, repair, maintenance and test tasks
Diagnosing errors or technical problems and determining proper solutions
Provide service and customer support during field visits
Tie workflow to schedule
Produce timely and detailed service reports
Follow all company's filed procedures and protocols
Cooperate with technical team and mentor
Comprehend customer requirements and make appropriate recommendations/briefings
Build positive relationships with customers
Full clean driving license.
Be flexible, able to travel from site to site.
Have a valid visa to work full time in the UK.
Be able to multi-task, solve problems and work well within a team and on your own.
Willingness to learn
Graduate to an Experienced/Qualified Electrical Engineer
Shadowing an experienced Electrical Engineer (4 days a week)
Attend City & Guilds Electrical NVQ course (1 day a week) - Paid by the company
Salary £17500 (To increase upon successful completion of training)
26 days Holiday (Plus Bank Holidays).
