The Alterations Delivery team is responsible for Asset diversionary works across the UK; adhering to NRSWA 1991 HAUC Measures Necessary Where Apparatus is Affected by Major Works (Diversionary Works) A Code of Practice and SSEET legal responsibilities and rights as per the New Roads and Street Works Act 1991.

What is the Role?

The Alterations Project Manager is required to ensure the continued success of the business, to join our Alterations team by undertaking projects and ensuring that the business fulfils its statutory duty under the new roads and street works act 1991.

As a Project manager, your main responsibility will be to manage projects in accordance with relevant regulations. As part of the Alterations management team, you'll work closely with the design engineers, field staff, contractors, customers, clients and key stakeholders to ensure that projects are delivered with the key focus being of safety and quality.

You will be expected to understand the customers requirements and manage their expectations. Projects will vary from small 3rd party diversions to complex, government projects.

What do I need?

The ideal candidate will have previous experience of managing Diversionary works in accordance with Section 84 of NRSWA and associated code of practice involving diverting plant for all diversionary works.

You should have excellent written and verbal communication skills are vital, and you'll have the confidence to engage with stakeholders at all levels, both internal and external.

You will have a working understanding of the Construction Design and Management Regulations and understand the duties of Client, Principal Designer and Principal Contractor.
