This business is a world leading manufacturer of high technology, Industrial CNC machines for a variety of applications and industries.
To act as a first point of contact for any clients that call with an immediate engineering problem and assist engineers with any technical help 5 days a week - Mon-Friday.
Answering customer calls/e-mails
Support customer /engineers with technical knowledge to achieve fix of issue
Recording calls in the Help Desk system - Oracle
Keeping the Service Request updated in the Help Desk system Oracle
Updating technical documentation
Engineering qualified with previous engineering experience.
Experience with CNC machinery.
Ability to read and interpret electrical / pneumatic schematics and mechanical drawings.
Previous experience in electrical (Board level) / mechanical fault-finding and the installation and maintenance of CNC/Woodcutting machinery
Electrical bias with a working knowledge of mechanical systems.
Excellent customer service skills, both written and verbal English
Strong planning and organisational skills.
