Reporting to the Programme Director, the Technical Services and Commercial Programme Manager is a key interim role within SSE Telecoms with responsibilities in delivering an effective transformation, migration and separation of the Technical corporate Services and Commercial contracts from Group IT into SSET IT - this will include but not limited to the following capabilities: Active Directory, O365, EUC.
This role will be required to lead the Business and IT programme delivery workstreams and engage with external suppliers in providing a timely and effective transformation and migration of data of the core Technical Services and Commercial contracts with an emphasis not just on technical readiness but also data migration, data cleanse and business adoption/readiness working and managing external suppliers.
This role is responsible for the accountabilities listed below and is responsible for delivering each stage of the Technical Services and Commercial transformation, migration and separation plan reporting into the Programme Director.
The Technical Services and Commercial Programme manager should have extensive knowledge of the Telecoms industry couple with experience of corporate systems and commercial contract experience and business adoption methodologies.
The ideal candidate will be operationally and commercially focused with the ambition and vision to work with the Programme Director to efficiently manage the carve-out process.
You will have a strong sense of corporate responsibility will the ability to work independently while developing, motivating and leading a diverse team. You will have fantastic communication skills and a proven track record of working with key stakeholders.
Demonstrable experience of Cloud Technical Services and Commercial migrations from Oracle R12 on premise is required. You will work with Group and Enterprise IT in the migration of technical services (AD, O365, EUC, printers, Mobile) with Group SSE to Enterprise Telecom's new target architecture.
Experience managing risks effectively and overseeing multiple complex projects/processes simultaneously as well as having the intellectual rigour to discuss, debate and challenge in an open, supportive and inclusive manner.
You will take ownership of financial risks; managing budget and forecasting.
