About the Department

Energy Customer Solutions is the face of SSE to our customers in GB and Ireland, providing leading and reliable B2B services as well as leading retail solutions for our B2C customers.

What is the Role?

As a supplier we are regulated to keep within Settlements regulations set by Elexon, Technical Service and Support Advisors will be responsible for ensuing Business Energy meets those obligations. We are responsible for investigative work from third party agents, front-line teams and reporting; surrounding any implications caused when getting the metering set up, industry data flow issues and accuracy of billing within the correct time frames. We resolve complex and non-complex queries via a range of communications methods with the customer, third party agents and front-line teams. This is a great opportunity for anyone wanting to upskill their knowledge in Half Hourly, Non-Half Hourly, Non- Half Hourly Settlements and/or metering, as well as learn more about the energy industry including regulatory requirements.

What do I need?

The ideal candidate will be analytical thinking who is flexible, thrives on a challenge, can work on their own initiative. You will also demonstrate innovate ideas of improving efficiencies, want to make a difference and enjoy a variety of complex/non-complex tasks.

The role will require you to engage with all customers inside and outside our organisation, so you'll need effective communication skills and experience in building good working relationships. You will need the right level of organisational skills to manage your own time and workloads effectively to consistently meet the expected performance.
