Software Engineer - FinTech (Blockchain) Central London, London GBP65000 - GBP85000 per annum + bonus, pension, healthcare, etc AMC/AMS/RCSE_1563439630 Permanent 18/07/2019 ASAP Adam Mohammad Anson McCade

Software Engineer - FinTech (Blockchain)

A fast growing FinTech business that creates bespoke open-source Blockchain platforms is growing and needs Software Engineers to work with collaborative teams on experimental programmes.

Senior Software Engineer (FinTech, Blockchain, Java, Kotlin)

The role: Operating out of a fantastic modern office and with a non-corporate culture, you will partner with teams in designing, testing, deploying and operating highly scaleable software defined network systems.

Polyglots welcome! The business use Java & Kotlin (some devs even build in Scala), but as long as you are a top class software engineer that's open to converting, you can have any technical background you want.

The key thing is that you have a successful track record of delivering complex software projects and you're able to point to experience of establishing sound software development processes and tooling - if you tick those boxes, it's likely they will be interested.

That being said, you will need;

  • 3+ years commercial experience of developing in an enterprise level environment
  • Strong understanding of computer science and engineering principles, obtained through a combination of advanced academic study and significant professional experience
  • Problem solving skills and ability to work under pressure

Experience working with financial institutions and systems and delivering end to end platforms and services is also nice to have, but by no means a pre-requisite.
