With its extensive telecoms engineering experience, the company provides commercial security with unrivalled in-house engineering resource to Service Providers, Large Enterprises and the Public Sector providing a wide range of products and integrated solutions including leading-edge SD-Wan, Ethernet, Optical and dark fibre services.
What is the Role
Due to growth within the Telecoms division, we have a vacancy for an experienced Account Executive. This role is focused on helping drive revenue growth through new sales while managing the day to day customer experience within SSE Telecoms for 3 or 4 specific Service Provider customers working closely with the Account Directors who own overall responsibility of each of those accounts.
What do I need?
To be considered for this role, it is essential that you can demonstrate an understanding of WAN Networking (Ethernet, inc MPLS and Optical Wavelengths) combined with knowledge of Internet services (Access & IP Transit).
You will have experience and success in customer engagement either via internal or external sales
Projects ideally within the Telecoms section. You will have previously work within customer services via SSE Livequote or other pricing portals, is an advantage but not a pre-requisite.
Ideally you will have customer account management experience ideally in the Service
Provider/Wholesale/Channel markets but this is not essential. However, you should have a strong commercial awareness and experience of sales forecasting, targeting and reporting.
To be considered for this role you will be articulate, confident and tenacious with the ability to self-manage and act on ones own initiative against pre-determined KPIs. You will have a good standard of computer (Word, Excel, Powerpoint, Teams), writing and numeric skills.

As an excellent communicator, you will have the ability to create new relationships and use this skill to grow the accounts successfully.
