What is the Role?

You'll take full ownership for the successful delivery of a complex and wide-ranging inter-company Telecoms service contract, delivered to SSE IT through a Master Service Agreement arrangement.

Using your experience as an IT Service Delivery Manager, you'll be accountable for managing the delivery of the service within the context of the Master Service Agreement and financial / operational drivers - driving quality of service, operational excellence and ensuring all Group IT Shared Services conform to established performance and quality standards that support the overall strategy of the SSE business.

You'll have the ability to refine and develop processes and key performance indicators to optimise operational excellence in every area of your role.

In addition, the you'll be expected to be an active contributor to the wider Group IT Shared Services delivered to the SSE Business.

What do I need?

With accountability occasionally crossing organisational boundaries, you'll need to be able to demonstrate excellent stakeholder management which, along with your commercial, contractual and supplier management skills, will be essential to being successful in this role.

Your significant relevant experience will include:

  • A performance focus - establishing SLA's, KPI's and driving continuous improvement
  • Excellent effective stakeholder management including excellent communication, interpersonal, influencing and negotiation skills
  • Good knowledge across a broad range of IT services and disciplines, coupled with expertise in professional standards
  • The use of Service Management processes and best practice such as ITIL
  • Ideally previous experience in managing IT services under an inter-company Master Service Agreement

Due to the nature of the role a degree of flexibility will be required, particularly if issues require your out-of-hours attention.
