This opportunity is working for the industry leading specialists in print technology including ink jet, additive manufacturing and 3D printing. You will be working for an international organisation which focus on continuous product development.
We are looking for a self-motivated and pro-active Senior Engineer to join the Ink Manufacturing Operation in Stirling. This is a key site-wide role, responsible for leading engineering projects such as new product/equipment or process introductions, continuous development and maintenance programmes to the Ink Manufacturing plant. The role holder will be an expert within their field, advising and influencing senior management on business decisions, developing innovative approaches, and will be responsible for leading and managing a team of technical staff.
Leading the planning and management of engineering projects from initial conception through to implementation ensuring adequate resources are available to achieve SQCDE targets.
Responsible for the management of a team of technical staff/engineers including objectives, personal development and all line management responsibilities.
To be the technical expert and build sound relationships with internal and external parties. Applies specialist knowledge to achieve SQCDE business targets.
Leads and promotes technical activities across the RPLS site.
Responsible for budget submissions and control/spend authorisation/controlling targets costs to meet planned technical objectives.
Demonstrate strong and clear accountability / responsibility for successful and timely completion of designated tasks.

Is able to demonstrate excellent project management skills, with the ability to be self-managing and work to tight deadlines.
Must have the ability to operate as a technical expert, and be able to apply an analytical and innovative approach to solving complex technical problems.
Must be self-motivated, proactive and a strong team worker. Must also be a good communicator with strong presentation skills.
Must be able to prioritise and manage high pressure demands. Must be flexible in order to meet the requirements of the business.
Qualifications & Experience
Degree level qualified within a technical discipline is essential; preferably in mechanical/mechatronics or chemical engineering.
At least 5 years proven ability within a technical (process/chemical/manufacturing) environment, ideally with knowledge of ink processing plant and equipment.
Experience of managing multi-site/multi-disciplinary projects, including external parties.
Previous management experience is essential.
Familiarity with CDM/DSEAR regulations, engineering Health & Safety systems of work.
