Security Architect (SABSA)

If you're a Security Architect (CISSP, SABSA, Transformation) that has broad experience across the private and public sector, I have an opportunity within a team and company you should be interested in. My client has been relentlessly successful and is involved in some of the best transformation projects in the country. With a strong pipeline of new business to get their teeth into, there has never been a better time for you to get involved...

I am currently working with one of the leading multi-national software and consultancy businesses as it attempts to rapidly expand its diverse practice by hiring Security Architects (CISSP, SABSA, Transformation) with experience defining and delivering security architectures in complex multi-technology environments.

Roughly speaking…

  • "The broader the better" - As the projects are hugely diverse, it's preferred if you are less of an SME and instead possess a broad knowledge and understanding of multiple areas and disciplines
  • "External clients are key" - a proven track record of dealing directly with external clients and stakeholders is important, the same projects for the same stakeholders may not be enough
  • "Delivery" - This is primarily a delivery role, so whilst the technical profile and the leadership skills on projects take priority, delivery and bid work will also be key

Experience or understanding of

  • Architecture frameworks (e.g. TOGAF, NIST Cyber Security Framework, ISF Standard, SABSA)
  • Security legislation and regulatory frameworks (e.g. DPA, PCI-DSS, GDPR, UK Gov Good Practice Guides)
  • Security methodologies and industry standards (e.g. ISO27001, NIST, SANS)

Technically speaking

Architecture of two or more of the following Security Technologies:

  • Security Information and Event Management (SIEM), Public Key Infrastructure (PKI), Firewalls, Intrusion Detection / Prevention, Anti Malware, Email Security, Web Content Filtering, DDoS Protection, Mobile Device Security, Endpoint Detection & Response, Patch Management

Flexible working is also open to discussion. If you're involved in any of the above and feel it's the right time for a new challenge, get in touch and find out more
