Energy Customer Solutions is the face of SSE to our customers in GB and Ireland, providing leading and reliable B2B services as well as leading retail solutions for our B2C customers.
What is the Role
This is a pivotal role in the Home Energy Sales team and has primary responsibility for the delivery of the new sales acquisition target through the Door to Door Sales Channel in the Republic of Ireland. Door to Door sales activity is carried out by our 3rd party sales partner and the Sales Account Manager role provides the link between this external sales company and SSE Airtricity.
-Sales Delivery: achieve the new sales acquisition target for the Door to Door Sales channel in the Republic of Ireland through strong partnership and management of our 3rd party sales company
-Relationship Management: build, maintain and manage the long-term relationship with our 3rd party sales company to achieve new sales acquisition quotas and other business objectives
-Measurement & Monitoring: understand and report on key Sales Performance Indicators; use strong analytical skills to set & monitor targets; forecast, track and report on trends to senior management within SSE Airtricity and the 3rd party sales company
-Take initiative and generate solutions in collaboration with the 3rd party sales company and internal teams (for example Customer Service; Operations; Marketing; Finance) to achieve shared objectives
-Provide hands-on support to Regional Managers and Team Leaders in the field to drive sales performance across all regions in ROI. Spend time in the field with the Field Reps and Managers, listening to and optimising sales pitches, motivating and sharing best practice. Ensure all sales hubs are equipped with collateral and other essential materials needed in the field.
What do I need?
-Presentation, communication & influencing skills: design and deliver Induction and Refresher training for Field Reps to optimise sales skills and to ensure compliance with regulatory obligations
-Customer experience management: drive customer satisfaction and minimise complaints
-Contract and tender negotiation; budget management
-While this role has primary responsibility for ROI Door to Door Sales, it requires close collaboration with the NI Door to Door Sales Account Manager. Both of the Door to Door functions in ROI and NI work together in support of target achievement and operational & process management
