My client is looking for a Sales Engineer to join the service robotics department.
This is a very exciting and unique opportunity. The client sells Robotics products, solutions and services to 1000's of clients.
The companies Robotics division is one of the leading global industrial robotics companies and actually has the biggest global footprint being present in 53 countries. The business has expanded its remit into non manufacturing markets such as intralogistics, retail and healthcare and is aiming to become a global leader in this also.
The position will be based out of the Milton Keynes office and you will be responsible for selling from a large portfolio ranging from robotic products to modular cells, engineered turnkey solutions and lifecycle management services.
You will need to have plenty of solid experience in a robotics sales environment. You need exceptional communication skills as you will be building relationships with targeted accounts. In the main the clients will be global and regional e-commerce businesses.
Overall the candidate needs to be outgoing and personable along with having a robotics knowledge and experience in a similar role with tenacity and the drive to get stuck in and create a very rewarding future.
Responsibilities will include :
You establish and develop strategic individual relationships based on a defined strategy and act as focal point for problem resolution.
Identify and prioritise opportunities. You monitor competitors' activity and ensure that appropriate response strategies are formulated and implemented.
You take the initiative in developing sales strategies for key accounts and lead the continuous implementation of the defined strategy.
You develop, maintain and share detailed knowledge of the customer's business strategy, purchasing behaviour, organisation, decision-makers, business drivers, economic trends, and competition.
A Bachelors or Master's Degree in either technical or commercial discipline.
Industry experience, especially in sales of automated logistics operations is strongly desired.
Experience in Robotics automation is preferred.
Creative thinker with commercial focus, good technical understanding and results orientation
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Advanced Microsoft Office Skills
Positive, outgoing individual, Proven ability to engage clients over the phone and face to face
Need to be driven!
