About the Role

Base Location: Dundee

Salary: £28,831 - £35,194 + a range of other benefits to support your family, finances and wellbeing.

The Resource Controller will be responsible for:

- Control of materials and equipment stocks used by Operations Team Managers and their staff based at the Carolina Port storage facility.

- Arrange delivery of items direct to site to help support effective time working and improve stock utilisation.

- Coordinates inspections associated with Ladders, Harnesses, Lifting Tackle and Portable Instruments.

- Co-ordinates and tests transformer oil in readiness for use by the Operations teams.

- Ensures compliance with all H&S legislation and that Facilities Management for warehouse is maintained.

What do I need?

To be considered for this role, we would love you to have:

- An understanding of the range of materials and equipment used within the Transmission Business and ideally an understanding of systems for materials and facilities management.

- A good understanding of H&S Legislation including but not limited to LOLER/PUWER and COSHH regulations.

- You should have experience controlling and managing stock levels and have a good understanding of stock control principles and Supply Chain Management.

- This role will be IT driven so a sound knowledge and proven use of all Microsoft Packages is essential.

- Suitably trained in use of forklift and telehandler.
