As Resource Controller, you'll be responsible for the process of using companys resources in the most efficient way possible. You'll understand stock management and demand, and how this is influenced by both external and internal factors. You will also be accountable for ensuring the depot is a safe working environment, taking into consideration Safety and Environmental risks associated with this type of site.
Your daily tasks will include, but are not limited to: maintaining minimum/maximum stock levels; raising and managing purchase orders; ensuring equipment and stock are correctly put away; effectively managing waste disposal, and maintaining the grounds by collecting litter and debris.
The role will involve ordering stock for the cost centre and monitoring stock levels to ensure required stock is available to ensure delivery of Projects.
Your Skills and Experience
You should have experience controlling and managing stock levels, preferably within the industry, with knowledge of industry-specific materials and resource. You'll have a high regard for safety, embedding yourself in our safety culture and adhering to guidelines in everything you do.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills are essential and you'll have outstanding customer relationship skills with a commitment to providing high-level service at all times. This is a busy role, so it is important that you can prioritise and co-ordinate tasks to meet deadlines with minimal supervision.
You'll be enthusiastic and driven, with a flexible approach to work and an ability to adapt to changing business and project priorities. Due to the responsibilities of this role, a Forklift licence would be a distinct advantage.
