What is the Role?
We are looking to recruit a Regulatory Reporting Analyst to join our Asset Management Team. You will be part of the team of six and play a pivotal role in preparing and negotiating the company's annual regulatory submissions and the RIIO-ED1 close out.
Being a monopoly business that is regulated by OFGEM, the team is responsible for providing key regulatory reporting inputs for our annual Ofgem reporting submissions. As a vital member of the team and wider Distribution Network business, you will play a major part in increasing business efficiency and ensuring all key individuals have the correct information available to inform investment decision.
You will oversee the planning, testing and implementation of initiatives, which contribute to achieving the price control deliverables and meeting our licence obligations.
What do I need?
To ensure you get the most from your role and our customers receive the highest level of service, you should have the capability to review and interpret regulatory documents; demonstrable experience in analysing big data, reporting and forecasting function, and using Advanced Excel, Access skills including Macro/ VBA, pivot tables. Ideally, you will hold a minimum degree qualification in Business, Accounting, Engineering or the other relevant subject. Due to the technical nature of the role, it is preferred that you have a working knowledge of the Electricity Distribution Industry as well as the Regulatory framework that Distribution Network Operators operate in.
You will have excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, and will be capable of dealing with stakeholders (internally and externally) at all levels. You must be self-disciplined with excellent organisational skills, capable of working on your own initiative and to deadlines within a high-pressure environment.
