We are currently seeking a qualified and experienced Regional Materials and/or Inspection specialist to join our ExxonMobil Engineering Europe (EMEEL) team.
As part of the global ExxonMobil Research and Engineering division, we are located at the Fawley Refinery and Chemical Plant. The largest refinery in the UK, Fawley is a combined refining, lubricants and chemicals manufacturing site which is located on the south coast of England, on the edge of the New Forest National Park.
The Materials and/or inspection specialist is responsible for providing expert engineering and technical support to multiple manufacturing locations in the Europe & Middle-East region.

The successful candidate will be expected to provide training and coaching to plant personnel and take a leading role in the continuous improvement of ExxonMobil risk based practices and technologies. It is also expected that the candidate will participate in, and lead, regional and global technical networks, and have an active role across the Company and with industry bodies. The candidate will work within a small team of materials, inspection and mechanical engineers, which is part of the ExxonMobil Engineering Europe Limited organisation and the global EMRE organisation. EMEEL comprises of approximately 100 multidisciplinary engineers, and provides technical support across the region for both refining and chemical manufacturing complexes.
The role will involve frequent (up to 50% of the time) international travel, both within and outside of Europe for short business trips and /or assignments.
