What is the Role?

This is an excellent opportunity for a highly motivated individual to join our provisioning team based in Reading. You'll be responsible for ordering of services and pro-actively managing the delivery from multiple telecoms suppliers, liaising with customers on service delivery, provide regular updates and handovers upon competition.

Dealing with customers and project managers on all aspects of service delivery as well as managing customer and supplier escalations. Managing customer expectations whilst delivering world class customer service will be a critical part of your role.

Key accountabilities and decision ownership with proactively manage commercial and corporate orders through to completion, focussing on meeting the Contractual Delivery Date.

Ensure effective and timely communication is maintained with the customer throughout the order delivery process.

Identify customer delivery issues during the provisioning cycle and resolve in a timely manner.

Escalate any orders using the correct procedures and channels & ensure the customer is kept up to date with any issues or delays.

Maintain and update customer information on relevant internal systems & ensure correct scheduling with the customer and various internal teams.

Maintain effective communication with all customers, suppliers and partners.

Provide customer Work in progress (WIP) reports and host customer calls walking through the WIP where required.

What do I need?

Excellent communication skills with a proven track record of dealing with customer enquiries and orders in a fast paced, customer service environment, good product, process and industry knowledge for telecoms products and the ability to work under pressure.

You will have previous experience in a similar Telecoms Provisioning role with an understanding of networks and telecoms operators. We are looking for an effective communicator, both verbally and in writing, with an excellent telephone manner, good rapport building skills and the ability to listen and understand. Strong organisation and problem-solving skills are very important. We are looking for someone with a pro-active and 'can do' attitude and can work well in teams. Ideal candidate will need to demonstrate a high level of confidence in handling customer communications, dealing with queries, liaising with 3rd party suppliers whilst delivering World Class Customer Service.
