What is the Role
This is an exciting opportunity to join the SSE Renewables Projects Services team to support the development and construction of a portfolio of Onshore Wind Capital Projects. As A Project Planner, you will provide planning and scheduling services for a portfolio of Onshore Wind development and construction projects using Primavera P6. Some of your main accountabilities will include;
-Produce Integrated Master Schedules with integration of Contractor programmes (Primavera P6).
-Identify critical path and ensure potential delays to critical activities are identified and mitigated.
-Provide Project Management with analysis of schedule delay impacts and mitigation strategies.
-Review programme submissions from EPC Contractors (Schedule Quality, Delay Events etc).
-Establish the Programme Baseline and monitor monthly performance and variance analysis.
-Run 'what-if' Planning/Programme scenarios.
What do I need?
Due to the nature of this role, we are looking for you to have the following;
-Considerable Project Planning experience, working with large, multi-contract Engineering and Construction projects, including building fully integrated complex activity networks.
-Proficiency in planning methods and Primavera P6.
-Commercial Awareness and knowledge of construction contracting structures (e.g. NEC3/4).
-Outstanding communication, presentation and stakeholder management skills.
-Qualified to degree level in either engineering or business, or the equivalent project experience.
-Knowledge and experience of project Risk Management.
-Experience of Energy projects, particularly in onshore or offshore Wind would be beneficial.
