About the Department
Transmission operates under licence as Scottish Hydro Electric (SHE) Transmission plc, responsible for the transmission of electricity in the north of Scotland. We own and maintain the 132kV, 275kV and 400kV electricity transmission network in our licence area. Our network comprises of underground cables, overhead wooden poles, steel towers and electricity substations, and it extends over a quarter of the UK land mass across some of its most challenging terrain.
What is the Role?
SHE Transmission is responsible for delivering a wide range of projects within the North of Scotland. The Transmission business has an ambitious capital expenditure programme over the next ten years of circa £4 billion and we require experienced and enthusiastic team members to grow this business and take it forward to successfully deliver this extensive project programme.
We are currently looking for a Project Administrator to join the team in Perth. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is looking to take on the next challenge in their career and who has a real drive to succeed. You will support the Project services teams in the successful delivery of Major Projects. This will be achieved by controlling and administrating the filing and transmission and recording of documentation to a variety of stakeholders as well as general administration duties.
You may also be required to arrange the project management team movements, calendars and meetings, and assist with documents and meeting preparations. In addition, you will be required to take minutes for both internal and external stakeholder meetings, arrange training and manage the Transmission time management system.
What do I need?
To be successful in the role you will have excellent administration and organisational skills and a high degree of competency in Microsoft Office applications. Experience of Harmony/Oracle purchasing systems would be an advantage. You will have experience in working in an administration role in a delivery organisation.
You should be able to prioritise workloads and to deliver work to a high standard in a demanding environment as well as possessing excellent communication skills.
