What is the Role?
SSE Enterprise Telecoms is currently expanding its Product Portfolio with a significant number of New Product Development initiatives planned in the next 2 years. As such, we have a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Product Marketing Manager to lead our marketing activities.
As Product Marketing Manager, you'll act as a bridge between Product and Marketing supporting product proposition development, segmentation, insight creation and customer facing marketing materials. This is a key role with the Product team as you will be responsible for our product positioning and messaging as well as being a key voice for Product in marketing considerations relating to collateral, website content and the library of sales enablement materials.
You will be expected to provide market insight and feedback to improve the conversion and retention of new customers for our existing Product Portfolio (and future products on the roadmap) through a combination of producing best in class product marketing strategy and communication activity plans.
What do I need?
To be considered for this role, you will have proven experience as a Product Marketing Manager, Brand Manager or worked within a similar role and ideally have worked on new product development of a technical nature.
You will be responsible for developing effective marketing strategies and plans to communicate the features and benefits of new products to customers as we grow and diversify our portfolio. You will have extensive experience working within or alongside a marketing function, taking propositions to market. This will include a good awareness on how to build propositions, identifying target markets, writing compelling content and executing product launches.
As the Product Marketing Manager, you will have demonstrable experience of overseeing the production of products, managing product marketing, and responding to product users feedback. You will work with various teams to implement strategies and should have a natural ability to translate technical details into benefits for the user to clearly understand.
Strong analytical skills, with the ability to create dashboards for performance updates and the ability to work within a determined budget are key to this role.
As a well organised, self-driven and strong communicator both verbally and in writing, you will have the ability to pull together individuals with their own business objectives into a coordinated, efficient team. You will be a customer-centric individual, with the ability to act as a customer advocate for the business with an awareness and appreciation of our brand. Moreover, you should have the ability to work in a fast paced/changing environment.
