What is the Role?

Primarily you'll provide user advice and guidance on the EBS Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable modules as well as providing timely resolution of any incidents and problems occurring with them. Additionally, you'll be responsible for the design, development, system testing, UAT and roll-out, of any software enhancements and additions to these specific EBS modules.

You'll need to use your excellent customer service skills to support our existing EBS configuration, customisations and extensions; responding to support calls raised, investigating root causes for errors and effectively managing service requests and bugs with Oracle as well as tracking fault progress against internal SLAs. You'll be responsible for designing and developing small-scale fixes and enhancement requests and managing delivery to agreed timescales. Were always keen to improve and are open to new ideas, so you'll proactively review our EBS implementation and make recommendations on improvements to efficiency or housekeeping. You'll play a key role in the team ensuring internal and external audit requirements are met.

What do I need?

Your experience in supporting project and enhancement releases and the implementation of any regulatory and statutory requirements, security patches and software upgrades to the Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable modules as well as involvement in unit testing and support for User Acceptance and Regression Testing is essential. Ideally, you'll also be experienced in working with senior business users to establish and analyse new requirements as well as producing and maintaining accurate technical specifications to required standards.

Were looking for you to have the following technical experience: a background in basic Oracle SQL and Workflow development for Oracle eBusiness; knowledge and experience of Release 12 of Oracle eBusiness Financial applications across a multi-org. set up, including OA Framework and BI Publisher. It would also be beneficial for you to have knowledge and experience of the SQL Developer Tool and Stat configuration product.

This is a challenging role that will require you to work at pace and manage a demanding workload while delivering results to the wider SSE business. Were looking for an experienced Oracle EBS functional specialist who will demonstrate a strong desire and ability for continuous learning, coupled with a willingness to share functional knowledge and ideas with the team. A strong communicator who can network both internally and externally at all levels of the business.
