What is the Role

As Operations and Maintenance Facility (OMF) Package Manager, you will lead the Operations and Maintenance Facility Package for Arklow Bank Wind Park Phase 2, taking responsibility for all matters relating to the optioneering, design, specification, tendering, construction and commissioning of the projects operations and maintenance facilities.

You'll liaise with key stakeholders in establishing an appropriate operating and maintenance strategy for the project. This will involve reviewing the requirement for helicopter servicing infrastructure, Marine Coordination and Wind Farm Operational Control which you'll be incorporate into the OMF as part of this role.

You'll be required to structure and implement the OMF Contract Package(s), as well as engage across a wide variety of stakeholders to educate, inform and encourage them to assist in developing the first project in a new industry.

As the project grows, you'll be responsible for managing a team of up to 8, both directly and indirectly, alongside significant external works packages delivered by multiple external contractors.

What do I need?

To be considered for the role, we are looking for someone who is degree educated or holds equivalent industry experience with strong commercial acumen and the ability to interpret and manage multiple projects and/or business requirements simultaneously.

You will be experienced in management of the development and delivery of complex building and/or marine infrastructure construction projects for offshore wind turbine projects.

Excellent project management expertise and understanding of major project delivery combined with the ability to challenge all aspects of project costs and drive efficiency and value in all areas will be essential. As such, you will be well versed in complex, large scale multi-disciplinary bank financed JV projects.

Strong leadership skills will be necessary to motivate a team of multi-disciplined individuals, setting clear project goals and objectives and measuring performance against them. With a passion for winning, you'll drive teams to deliver high quality work on a consistent basis.

You'll also be required to have demonstrable understanding of contract structures and interrelationships across multi-contract projects, along with the ability to identify commercial drivers for major infrastructure projects.

Strong analytical skills, both quantitative and qualitative will also be necessary for this role.
