What is the Role
As Offshore Works Package Manager, you'll work within a Projects Execution Team for Greater Gabbard Offshore Winds Ltd (GGOWL) and Support the Offshore Works Project Manager with the safe and efficient planning and execution of all work assigned to the Project Execution Team, in order to ensure that overall asset integrity and wind farm generation is maintained at the highest possible level.
Some of your main accountabilities will include;
-Ensuring Contractor RAMS (Risk Assessment Method Statements) are produced, reviewed and updated in a timely manner.
-Support the Works Project Manager in ensuring that the Contractors Construction Phase Plan is produced in a timely manner.
-Consult with the Engineering team and Operations to ensure the coordination of all work packages with Planned Maintenance (PM) and Corrective Maintenance (CM) activity.
-Notify the Offshore Works Project Manager of any contract variation requirements prior to it being accepted and implemented.
What do I need?
We are looking for someone who has demonstrable management experience working in offshore wind or in a similar role within oil and gas. You should be NEC3 Engineering and Construction Contract accredited or equivalent and have knowledge of CDM 2015 regulations.
A formal health and safety qualification would be beneficial.
You'll have strong commercial awareness, complimented by excellent communication, organisation and planning skills. Due to the nature of this role, it is essential that you have a proven track record of leading and mentoring teams and the ability to manage multiple work scopes simultaneously. It goes without saying that you must be prepared to travel, be deployed offshore and work on a seasonal shift pattern.
