About the Department

Operations are responsible for keeping the lights on; we are at the front line on the Network. If we find a fault, it is our responsibility to respond to the fault, and dispatch our skilled teams to fix it as quickly as possible. We work in all hours, and through all weathers, ensuring our customers are never without power.

What is the Role?

The Network Integrity Delivery Engineer is responsible for the completion of works to improve the health index of the network. The main duties include: responsibility for helping to continuously deliver safe outcomes for the workforce, customers and the environment; operating a commitment-based, delivery-focused culture to build a solid programme of work with little disruption; delivering maintenance to ensure reliable performance and network security to meet regulatory and business plan objectives; delivery of programmes and an overview of work to be completed and prioritisation of resources, ensuring a co-ordinated approach to work delivery and resolution of key risks

You will also be responsible for balancing priorities to ensure customer requirements are achieved consistent with resource availability, other programmed work and cost efficiency, prioritisation of defect repair work and mitigating risk of faults in the network, delivery of projects and/or programmes of Capex and Opex works and independent engineering project works or appropriate programmes of work.

What do I need?

In order to be considered for this role you will be educated to minimum HNC in Electrical & Electronic Engineering of other relative engineering discipline and have proven experience in site project and contractual management. You will also have Site Managers Safety Training or IOSH Managing Safety and have experience of carrying out detailed technical studies and reports. Relevant operational / technical experience and knowledge - SAP experience on EHV/HV/LV systems is also a necessity for this role.
