About the Role

Base Location: Wiltshire, Thames Valley, Oxfordshire or Wessex

Salary: £40,658 - £49,626 + car allowance or cash alternative + a range of other benefits to support your family, finances and wellbeing.

Working Pattern: Permanent | Full Time | Flexible working options available

As a LV - 33kV Network Designer, you will be responsible for a number of Capital Asset replacement / reinforcement from initial high level scope, including managing legal environmental and consent, system design, CDM and safety management, financial analysis and forecasting.

Roles & responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

- Manage each project's financial forecasting, safety management, programming and scheduling, with monthly reporting.
- Comply to the SSEN Governance for all design elements whilst assisting with construction, land consents, quality assurance, public relations tender management, and ensure compliance to current CDM Regulations.
- Review and approve incoming designs from consultants and 3rd parties and ensure a fully workable design is produced for the construction team.

What do I need?

To be considered for this role, we would love you to have:

- An HNC in an engineering or relevant subject, in addition to experience in this field with a DNO, ICP or a supplier to the industry.
- Experience in applying the Construction (Design and Management) Regulations 2015 to technically complex projects.
- A delivery focused mindset with good communication skills and the ability to thrive under pressure.
