About the Department
Operations are responsible for keeping the lights on; we are at the front line on the Network. If we find a fault, it is our responsibility to respond to the fault, and dispatch our skilled teams to fix it as quickly as possible. We work in all hours, and through all weathers, ensuring our customers are never without power.
The Rechargeable Debt Team sits within the Operational Support Team and deliver multiple functions to assist with the running of our Distribution business. The department is ever changing in order to deliver the needs of our customers and therefore you'll need to have the ability to adapt to a fast moving and ever evolving team, with enthusiasm and a positive approach.
What is the Role
As a Team manager in our Rechargeable Debt Team you'll play a key role in recovering debt from third party damages to our network, specifically to each of our 4 regions covering central southern England.
In the role you'll answering customer escalated complaints, develop software that assists with capturing data and find solutions to complex customer and operational problems, all whilst adhering to industry processes and regulations.
You'll also be solely responsible for the financial results of recovering repair costs for the South of England. To do this effectively you'll need a high competency in analysing data, reports, figures and understanding the impact of these on your business area. During times of bad weather, you'll be required to give support through your storm role, this may mean working outside of your normal hours and potentially location
Being successful in this role will rely on a comprehensive knowledge of our networks business, including how we are regulated, how our network functions and the challenges we face as a business.
