About the Role
Base Location: Belfast
Salary: £19,814 + a range of other benefits to support your family, finances and wellbeing.
Working Pattern: 12 month Fixed Term Contract | Full Time | Flexible First options available
SSE Airtricity are seeking to recruit an experienced Meter Reader within Airtricity Gas NI. Within this role your responsibilities will be to:
- To provide accurate reads of various gas meters in accordance with our licence to supply conditions for Domestic, I&C, Contract & PAYG customers. Including recording & reporting of all meter and network safety related issues & accurately completing all documentation.
- To assist with general servicing & maintenance of Quantum & Libra PAYG meters as required.
- To liaise with internal departments regarding meter reading queries & supply licence compliance. You will work in partnership with you team to deliver the highest level of service to both customer and the business.
- To work towards set targets as part of a team using established guidelines, procedures and process driven methodology. You will work in partnership with you team to deliver the highest level of service to both customer and the business.
- Actively contribute to team meetings & one to one's including the sharing of any knowledge that has been gained through experience or from contact with others.
What do I need?
To be considered for this role, we would love you to have:
- The successful applicant will be well organized, have exceptional attention to detail, be both customer and quality-focused and passionate about delivering service excellence at all times.
- Flexible approach to working hours as some evening & weekend work will be required.
- Previous experience within a customer service or utilities environment would be advantageous.
- Strong interpersonal skills with problem solving ability
- Driving licence is essential
