What is the Role?
We have an exciting role for a Licence Compliance Lead to join our IT CIO, based in Havant. In this role youll manage all aspects of the end-to-end Software Asset Lifecycle in accordance with agreed policy and process. Youll need to ensure there is a consistent and cost-effective approach to all aspects of managing the lifecycle of Software Assets (including provisioning, maintenance, compliance, management and decommissioning).
Bringing with you experience from a similar role, you'll take key accountability for all aspects of the Software Asset Management process including governance, compliance, reporting and continuous improvement. You'll need to ensure this process integrates with all relevant IT and business processes, so that it adds values to those processes and their outcomes.
What do I need?
In this role, you'll need to understand all aspects of the software lifecycle, and a thorough knowledge of the requirements and benefits of an established IT Software Asset Management capability.
You'll be able to demonstrate good knowledge of financial management, budgeting and purchasing processes, as well as good working knowledge of SSE, the energy sector and IT.
Additionally, you'll need to be: -
- A fluent communicator (both written and oral), with experience dealing with individuals at all levels.
- Self-motivated with ability to manage own workload, work independently, and ability to flex and adapt to short notice changes and demands.
- Analytical with good reasoning skills.
- Able to resolve problems associated with process compliance and improvements.
