Product Designer - Lead

Are you a proven, innovative Lead Product Designer (Agile, UX, start-up) who has a passion for working in a creative tech start-up environment on a bleeding edge tech platform that is going to change the world? Then I have the role for you.

The organisation

A tech start-up who are revolutionising the mobility market space with bleeding edge technology. They are building a platform that will become the only and go to place for connecting people with services globally when it comes to transport - thus enabling sustainable urban mobility - something that is a great concern in today's society. The highly creative and passionate team are based out of a WeWork office, meaning you get to work in a social, fun environment in a role you love.

The tech team is growing substantially over the coming years and so there is a lot of opportunity for you and build out the team as well as move into a Head of UX role within 6-12 months! This is your chance to be a part of the future and play a pivotal role in shaping an innovative product and firm.

The role

  • Work in a highly collaborative, Agile environment to ensure product meets requirements
  • Deliver world-class interaction designs, from initial concept through to launch and evaluation of success.
  • Produce design visualizations to help everyone understand what the best experience should be: storyboards, flows, wireframes, prototypes, vision pieces and so on.
  • Regularly review work with design peers and leadership to collect feedback on direction
  • Contribute to user experience design, product and development best practices and standards
  • Communicate work to developers, third parties and engineers clearly and constructively
  • Clearly present various stages of interface design development to business owners, team members and other stakeholders
  • Be the champion of a consistent experience across different products
  • Mentor and inspire junior designers and peers

Experience required:

  • Ability to adapt and work effectively within a variety of situations and group settings
  • Curiosity about a wide range of design-related subjects, always ready to learn new things about visual interaction, and motion design
  • A strong sense of personal motivation, being able to work independently with a proactive attitude in solving complex visual problems on different contexts
  • Always maintain a professional demeanour, even in the face of pressure, setbacks or when dealing with difficult situations
