We work in partnership with all our customers to ensure that they are maximising the value from their energy contract and are using energy as a value generating asset that can influence better planning, greater cost control, improved working and product environments, reduced carbon footprint, stronger brand equity and more engaged staff.

What is the Role?

SSE's Business & Operational Support department is responsible for providing technical support to Business Energy. We provide support for existing applications, manage the testing and rollout of all new applications and releases, and respond to business requirements for change using rapid application development tools (primarily C# .Net, SQL, MS Access and MS Excel).

Working on your own initiative, you'll plan and manage tasks to meet deadlines and will be responsible for ensuring that all challenges are effectively resolved. You'll also identify opportunities to reduce cost drivers and improve efficiency and customer service within the process.

What do I need?

To be successful in this role, you'll possess knowledge of C# .Net, Microsoft Access and Microsoft Excel and/or SQL Programming/Server.
