Due to our growing and developing plans in the HV sector, we have new opportunities for experienced 11kV and 33kV Senior Authorised Persons to join our HV business in a field-based role as part of a team working in the Eastern region. The successful candidates will be an integral part of a team responsible for the delivery of maintenance, protection, upgrades, fault finding and infrastructure projects.
In this role you will undertake full SAP operational duties ranging from operational switching, network control & issuing safety documents. We currently manage a large number of private 3rd party networks across the Region so experience of HV maintenance would be advantageous. There will also be a requirement to provide support to project management teams and technical advice to our clients.

Knowledge, Skills, Qualifications and Experience
You'll ideally be an experienced Senior Authorised Person on HV systems, with extensive operational experience on a diverse range of HV underground systems. Being accredited to the standards set by a UK licensed Distribution Network Operator will be very advantageous. You'll be familiar with, and comply with all Suspension of Operational Practice, Dangerous Incident Notifications and National Defect Reports, with proven expertise in maintenance, replacement and project work. In addition, you'll have extensive knowledge of Switching and Network Control as well as the construction, commissioning and operation of electrical plant and equipment on HV systems.
