About the Department

This is a new role in a new team; were looking to establish a standalone HR team as we separate all the people services from the SSE Group HR functions.

Well partner with the business to provide expert advice on all people matters, enabling them to get the best out of their teams and equip them to meet the changing demands of our business now, and in the future.

What is the Role?

This is an exciting time to join the HR team for SSE Telecoms and in this new position you will deliver a pro-active and customer focused HR Service across the business.

Reporting to the HR Director you will review the HR services to meet our current and future needs by developing fit for purpose people systems, processes and progressive HR activities.

The initial objectives will be the implementation of a new HR system, including payroll, ensuring a seamless transition and improved user experience. This will enable the separation of the HR operational services and systems from the SSE Group into a standalone Telecoms business.

This gives you the flexibility of a start-up, with the security of a large company backing and a structured framework.

What do I need?

To be successful in this role, you will need to be;

- An experienced HR generalist with sound knowledge of HR systems and HR processes. This experience will ideally be within the technology/telecoms sector.

- Experience of implementing new HR software and systems.

- Structured and organised in your approach; delivery focused.

- Analytical and numerate with the ability to understand and interpret key business performance measures.

- Ability to empathise and build positive relationships with all colleagues.
