About the Department
Energy Customer Solutions is the face of SSE to our customers in GB and Ireland, providing leading and reliable B2B services as well as leading retail solutions for our B2C customers.
What is the Role?
SSE Business Energy, is currently recruiting for a Groups Smart Copywriter based on a 12 months contract. The role sits in the Business Energy Smart Programme ('BESP) supporting the Deployment Operations workstream in governing Business Energys smart meter deployment planning and delivery.
As part of the Business Energy Smart Programme ('BESP) team, you will directly report to the Smart Campaign Manager and work closely with Business Energys Marketing team and SSE Business Energys Smart Programme team.
You will play a pivotal role in driving smart metering demand for our Groups customers portfolio (large customers with more than 10 sites) and TPIs, by providing support in executing the smart campaign strategy. This role will be concepting, writing and refining content assets where smart meters should be referenced when engaging business customers, in order to generate leads and conversions.
What do I need?
As this is a demanding role, it is essential you have extensive experience in order to hit the ground running with the execution of campaigns and creating new ideas to get smart messages to the relevant audience. It will require a hands-on approach combined with very strong time management and the ability to develop and maintain strong business relationships, both within Business Energy and with external partners.
We need someone who is quick, smart and able to balance competing demands. The individual chosen will have the ability to question a brief, to work calmly under pressure and meet challenging deadlines. Good knowledge of the energy sector and knowledge of Smart meters, is desirable but not essential. Experience within a B2B environment is also preferred along with the skills to deliver a customer focused transformation within a high intensity project environment.
