Our client is a leading coffee machine service providers, and they are seeking a Field Service Engineer to join their expanding technical team in the South and South West London area.
Reporting into the Service Manager, the Service Engineer will be responsible for delivering and installing a wide range of coffee machines into client premises.
The successful Field Service Engineer will have the opportunity to create a great first impression of the business to new clients where equipment is being installed. As such, they need to be professional, personable, and considerate at all times when dealing with clients.
As an Field Service Engineer you will be working on a range of equipment from manufacturers such as WMF, Franke, Jura, La Cimbali, Schaerer, Coffetek, Westomatic, Crane, N&W, Evoca, and Rheavendors and more.
Full training can be provided on the coffee equipment, as well as any other additional equipment required such as stair-walkers etc. The ideal candidate will have some electrical or mechanical experience, ideally having studied Electrical or Mechanical Engineering. Exposure to plumbing qualifications would also be beneficial but not essential for this role.
Delivering & installing coffee equipment - including plumbing, setting up the equipment and drink volumes on hot drinks machines
Installing coffee equipment as per manufacture instructions
Calibrating machines when installed to ensure they operate at optimum levels
Calibrating the quality of hot drinks dispensed from the coffee machines
Refurbishing coffee equipment in the workshop
Uplifting machines from sites at point of upgrade or end of contract, and returning to the workshop
Using equipment such as stair-walkers to safely move equipment around buildings as required
Flexible approach to working - able to accommodate early morning installations as required
Calm and personable approach with customers
Strong electro-mechanical experience and plumbing exposure
Full driving licence with no more than 6 points
The business will offer a generous basic salary of between £28-32k depending on experience, plus the opportunity of overtime, no weekend work, pension, as well as other incentives and company bonuses.
