Are you a well-skilled Enterprise Solutions Architect looking for your next contract? My client is a world-renowned name in the Cyber Security industry, providing bespoke digital security solutions to high profile public and private sector clients. They are now searching for a contracting Enterprise Business Systems - Solutions Architect to become an integral member of their industry-leading team based in Guildford.

As a company, my client is rapidly growing due to the diverse and complex nature of the projects that they undertake, and so it would be an exciting time to join as the newest member of their team, contributing to keeping the UK's most renowned organisations safe from cyber threats and attacks.

This is a contract position so we are looking for specialists who do not need their hand-held - an 'eagerness to learn" unfortunately will not cut it for this role. Prior experience working within the Defence and Intelligence or Cyber Security industry would be beneficial but not essential.

Essential

  • Able to gain UK SC Security Clearance - please refer to UK Security Vetting Service if you are unsure of eligibility.
  • Candidate must have previous large scale programme involvement defining and clarifying complex designs specific to ERP ( SAP ) and its integrations to upstream CRM systems Salesforce and other Finance systems.
  • The candidate must be an expert on integration, data modelling and solution design within the context of O2C, P2P and R2R.

Core Duties / Key Accountabilities

  • Accountable for the product architecture, design, technical integrity and quality of the Enterprise Business Systems (such as SAP, Cognos, Sharepoint, BPC, Planview, Supportworks etc.) taking into consideration other aspects of the architecture i.e. business, data and technology.
  • Responsible for creating and maintaining product and integrated architectures/roadmaps and producing artefacts, working alongside other Domain Architects.
  • Responsible for producing re-useable Artefacts such as Blueprints, High-level designs, Design/Engineering and System Standards.
  • Responsible for managing the technical governance, release and change management of the product
  • Responsible for setting good technical principles, standards and corresponding artefacts, setting the direction of the quality of work delivered by internal and 3rd party suppliers.
  • Supports the Delivery Manager by working within the release plan and by effective articulation of High-Level Solution Designs.
  • Accountable for the technical solution delivered and responsible for managing the interdependency of the designs and builds of the EBS components, aligning these with new business requirements and support requirements.
  • Responsible for championing the appropriate use of Agile and DevOps best practices to drive continuous delivery at an ever-increasing pace while maintaining the high levels of service to an "always-on" platform.
  • Collaborating with suppliers to keep up to date with WBS Product roadmaps and how can make the most of emerging technologies and features from the platform as well as being viewed as an industry expert to our customers.
