Energy Customer Solutions is the face of SSE to our customers in GB and Ireland, providing leading and reliable B2B services as well as leading retail solutions for our B2C customers.

Our Business Energy teams supply over 500,000 customer accounts, across a broad and diverse client base. Our teams serve a broad and diverse range of clients from micro businesses to large national corporates, providing a unique service to each business with a commitment to keeping our clients interests at heart and helping to control energy costs.

With a commitment to excellence and service in line with obligations and expectations; both internally and externally, there is an exciting opportunity within the Tax and Remediation team in Forbury place, Reading.

This fast paced and rewarding role will involve reconciling accounts for our Business Energy customers to ensure accurate and timely bills are produced. With a high attention to detail and a passion for accuracy you will ensure adjustments are always made correctly and efficiently whilst following guidelines and procedures. Within this demanding role you will be expected to work to tight guidelines and targets to ensure our customers expectations are met and our high service levels are maintained, so time management and organisational skills are key. The ability to be flexible, adaptable and manage change will be key as this role is expected to evolve in line with business needs moving forward.

What do I need?

To be successful in this role you will need the ability to communicate with stakeholders at various levels in a professional manner. This will include articulating performance, risk and potential improvement opportunities.

Teamwork is key, and although you will have a dedicated primary function, it is expected you will also assist in other areas within the Tax and Remediation team to ensure the team as a whole is successful.
