About the Department

Energy Customer Solutions is the face of SSE to our customers in GB and Ireland, providing leading and reliable B2B services as well as leading retail solutions for our B2C customers.

We are looking to create a small team of 10 Customer Service Advisors to support the business through the rollout of the Smart Meter installation programme.

The role will take on a varied appearance; with tasks ranging from inbound telephony, outbound Collections plus back office technical & billing work. Full training will be provided for all competencies.

What do I need?

Within Business Energy we strive to ensure that our internal and external customers receive the highest level of service the successful applicants will be expected to have the following key skills:

- A high focus on customer service

- Excellent organisational skills

- Exceptional attention to detail

- A passion and desire to learn

- Self motivation is key as you will be required to work both within a team and individually

- Work towards agreed performance targets

- Previous experience in a fast-pace customer service and phone-based environment would be desirable although not essential
