What is the Role?
SSE Airtricity has an exciting opportunity for a Credit Control Administrator to join our proud team. Your role will be to support and assist the team on a day to day basis, whilst adhering to industry specific legislation and regulatory framework ensuring vulnerable customers are protected. This role involves contacting customers to arrange meter exchanges, collating information to finalise accounts and referrals to third party agents, also identifying gas accounts which have failed to adhere to payment terms. You will be required to account through daily, weekly and month end reports to ensure that all debt recovery procedures are fully complied with including all industry specific legislation and regulatory framework.
You will compile reports for the Billing & Credit Control Manager, lastly, your success in this role will be measured by your ability to ensure that high standards of internal and external customer service are provided at all times.
What do I need?
We're looking for someone with experience dealing with customer accounts with an awareness of issues impacting customers; ability to handle sensitive cases is desirable. An understanding of the current regulatory framework and industry specific legislation would be beneficial. You must be proficient in Microsoft Excel coupled with strong numeracy skills
We're looking for someone with strong negotiating and reconciliation skills with the ability to communicate effectively. As well as this you should have excellent attention to detail and accuracy with proven track record working to tight deadlines.
