Our Business Energy teams supply over 500,000 customer accounts, across broad and diverse client base. Our teams serve a range of clients from micro businesses to large national corporates, providing a unique service to each business with a commitment to keeping our clients interests at heart and helping to control energy costs.
Due to our continued success and to support our future business strategy and growth we have an opportunity for a Business Energy Metering Appointments Advisor to join our team.
Metering Appointments provides support to Business Energy by raising and managing customer requests for metering work. The team handle requests for gas and electric new connections, upgrades, downgrades, meter exchanges, meter removals and meter read requests.
You'll be dealing with internal and external customers and manage the appointment process from cradle to grave. You'll liaise with network and meter operators and our energy consultants to deliver a smooth service for our customers. It is essential you have an eye for detail as you'll be responsible for updating billing system accurately when the appointment has been completed.
What do I need?
You will need the ability to manage multiple jobs at the same time, handle complaints professionally and use your relationship building skills to problem solve.
You will be able to work on your own initiative, be inquisitive, decisive and able to see tasks through to completion. Ideally you will have a background within utilities, though training can be provided, your communication and decision-making skills will be second to none.
