The role will be the main client interface through the proposition/bid phase leading contract negotiations to contract close and procurement. Therefore, a strong understanding of EU and UK policy frameworks as they apply to heat, energy, carbon and construction is required.
Strong understanding of DE systems, and the move to local energy systems is essential combined with knowledge of the commercials of front-of-the-meter generation and behind-the-meter generation.

Moreover, you'll be experienced in explaining complicated projects internally to gain approval through governance processes. You should also have sound judgement; with the ability to interpret, analyse and disseminate complex, sensitive information.
As an experience people manager, you will have demonstrable experience of managing high Performing teams where you will lead bid and project teams. Proposition development - experience building bespoke propositions across a complex range of energy technology and solutions.
You will have the skills to calculate commercial opportunity (and risk) associated to allow you to plan resource across a complex project to fully understand potential cost of project.
Ideally you will have experience of the energy trading markets; knowledge of a range of commercial structures as they apply to distributed energy and skilled in bringing together and managing a large, complex proposition that sits across multiple areas of expertise.
You will have the ability to manage an internal virtual team, including senior stakeholders and external partners where you will continually build on these relationships.
