Our client is a payment technology provider, and they have an exciting opportunity for a Business Development Manager to join their expanding team in the Warwickshire area.
Working as part of the Sales Team, this role is responsible for identifying new sales leads and delivering high quality new business revenues so that you can meet and exceed your annual targets.
The role requires:
§ Assisting with developing and Implementing the company sales strategy to ensure the future achievement of company budget/sales targets
§ Proactive Development of new business opportunities
§ Establishing and developing effective working relationships with key potential customers.
§ Managing client expectations and ensuring complete client satisfaction from initial prospect to the successful installation of the product/system.
§ Working collaboratively with internal resource to maximise sales
§ Maintenance of up to date records on the company CRM database
§ Completion of administration records in line with company procedures
§ To provide support to the Managing Director and Sales Department as required
§ Contribution to the overall development of the company through support/participation in other departmental projects
§ From time to time, perform other duties according to the operational needs of the Company, and as requested by your manager.
§ Attend industry events, exhibitions and trade association meetings.
You will be working within the sales team yet responsible for your own results. The role involves approaching businesses that may not have heard about the company. As you grow in the role, you will also be expected to source your own leads and use your initiative in identifying the best people to approach.
In return, you will be offered a competitive basic salary ranging from £25k to £30k depending on experience, with the ability to earn generous commission, earning you a package of around £45,000 or higher.
