What is the Role?
As Support Sales Manager, you will be responsible for spearheading business development within the Yorkshire region.
We already work with some of the biggest names in retail, business, health-care and education and you will quickly develop an understanding of why our existing customers turn to us. It will be your job to target key stakeholders in identical sectors, identify the value we offer and present compelling business cases to secure new service level agreements.
This is a management position, an integral part of a winning team within the building controls arena and the wider SSE distributed energy business. Your peers will be other high performing Support Sales Managers and some of the industries most experienced technical staff. You will work closely with Senior Branch Management and with the strategic support of our Support Sales Director.
What do I need?
A hungry proactive door opener, who thrives in a competitive market place with the most premium offer. You will need strong commercial skills built on top of a credible technical background. With comprehensive product training provided, you will be comfortable advising Energy, Technical and Business Directors on the best solutions for their needs.
You will be motivated to help and understand people, their environments and the demands placed upon them. Your drive will be to provide the best possible service while demonstrating exceptional value.
You will be a credible communicator with a background in strategic sales or business development and have relevant experience in Building Energy Management Systems, complementary Building Management Services or Facilities Management.
You will be excited by innovative solution selling and being at the forefront of emerging technologies, including integrated smart building solutions, data analytics, energy visualisation platforms, IoT and cloud connectivity.
