Job Title: BMS Project Sales Engineer
Location: Base office in Glasgow with travel across Scotland. This role can be worked flexibly.

Reporting into the Business Manager you'll execute the sales process to cultivate and manage long-term relationships. You'll be adept at seeking out, qualifying and closing new sales opportunities. You'll utilise sales tools to plan and document progress; increase business opportunities within accounts and participate as a member of the team on key and target customer accounts. Additionally, you'll be responsible for leading the account team on assigned target and managed accounts.
You'll be accountable for proactively identifying and contacting new clients, cultivating and managing long-term relationships to build long term associations. This will involve understanding their business, operational and environmental objectives and bringing solutions to customers.
Utilising your industry experience in BMS/energy management, you'll be able to share your knowledge and operations expertise with clients to ensure you are able to match a solution to their operational requirement and refer any further requirement to other businesses within the group as required.
Managing multiple, ongoing projects, you'll focus on selling new projects and retrofits differentiating SSE services and products from competitors based on business benefits.
Your Skills and Experience
To be successful in this role you will be educated to a minimum of HNC in an engineering related discipline and have previous HVAC Building Management Systems experience. With a determination to grow our business you will enjoy proactively contacting new clients and be comfortable presenting them with solutions to their BMS requirements. Due to the nature of the project environment you will be working in, you will enjoy working in a solutions, target and deadline driven environment.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills will be some of your key assets along with the ability to build, nurture and maintain strong relationships with your clients.
As you will be travelling to different sites its essential that you hold a full driving licence.
