About the Department

Energy Customer Solutions is the face of SSE to our customers in GB and Ireland, providing leading and reliable B2B services as well as leading retail solutions for our B2C customers.

What is the Role

SSE Airtricity is Ireland's second largest and fastest growing energy provider, supplying around 800,000 domestic and commercial gas, electricity and home energy services customers in the Republic and Northern Ireland.

Your role will encompass a range of responsibilities including setting up billing tariffs, manage market message exceptions and proactively manage invoicing validation. You will work closely with other departments to ensure the customers billing journey is a smooth experience. Responsibilities will include but will not be restricted to:

  1. Market Message & Process Tracking Job Management

Take ownership of daily work queues and resolve outstanding action through to resolution.

  1. Billing Frequency

Manage daily Invoice validation queues to ensure invoices are sent on time and are accurate.

  1. Mailboxes

Manage daily workload inbox, taking ownership to resolve queries sent on from Marketplace (e.g. ESBN, GNI, NIEN) within agreed SLA.

  1. Customer Engagement

Proactively communicate with and engage customers regarding any prolonged delays to their invoicing. Manage internal stakeholders queries via Billing Hunt-line.

  1. Team Work

Strong team player with ability to multitask and capable of working on own initiative.

  1. Compliance

Excellent ability to complete tasks to deadline and achieve compliance level in line with obligations set out in our Code of Practice, Supplier Handbook and Data Protection rules.

  1. Problem Solver

Excellent ability to analyse and problem solve.
