SSE Enterprise is responsible for providing innovative solutions to build, own, operate and maintain energy and communications infrastructure in the UK and Ireland. Forbury Assets Limited is the Independent District Networks Operator (IDNO) business of SSE Enterprise. We finance, own, operate and maintain energy infrastructure for commercial, industrial and residential customers - providing them with a market leading project development service and certainty of operational performance and asset management.
What is the Role?
SSE Enterprise has created an IDNO that will own, operate and maintain electricity distribution infrastructure across Great Britain. The IDNO is staffed by a core team with key services provided in the main by other SSE Enterprise entities.
The Adoptions Project Manager has a key role developing and maintaining the adoption of new and existing networks by the IDNO. In doing so developing systems, processes and contractual relationships to manage the networks. As the IDNO expands there will be an ongoing responsibility for the safe, reliable and efficient operation of the networks. In addition, you will be part of the core team that pro-actively engages with ICPs within the industry to adopt further networks.
What do I need?
The successful candidate be commitment to Safety being at the heart of everything we do, should have knowledge of the Electricity Distribution industry, an understanding of the IDNO and ICP market and experience of interactions between ICPs, DNOs and IDNOs. Experience of managing multiple work streams and a willingness to go beyond the role's remit to support the wider project. Current or past electricity distribution authorisations.
On a day to day basis the role communicating with internal and external service providers and ensuring there is safe handover over of electrical assets.
