The Role

We are currently recruiting for a highly successful Account Director with a well-established background within Telecoms to join our dynamic and rapidly growing business. You will be responsible for developing a sales pipeline of key transport sector clients, building strong relationships and bringing solutions to SSEs Telecoms customers. The role will primarily involve developing new business, however, there will be an element of account management of existing customers.

You will collaborate with product management and marketing to ensure that the features, benefits, positioning, and pricing are thoroughly understood by target customers. Deal sizes will vary, and you will be expected to work comfortably with customers across the spectrum.

What do I need?

As the Account Director it is essential you have a firm grasp on the UK Telecoms market where an understanding of the transport business is desirable.

The ideal candidate will be an established, confident and tenacious salesperson who has an excellent understanding of working within a large matrixed environment to deliver high value solutions to customers.

You will have demonstrable knowledge of current trends, competitor positioning, market dynamics and developments and experience of strategic selling strategies such as: Miller Heimann, SPIN, TAS, Holden or similar would be advantageous but not essential.
